After being given the #RumFather tour, we chose 3 different gift packs. The packaging was very nicely presented and very sturdy. We also liked the fact that the different rums and jams were explained in detail as we made our choices. Very difficult to pick a favourite as we will need to do much more testing before we can decide.
We also liked the cocktail and recipe suggestions we were given on the leaflet.
It was fascinating to hear how the left over fruit from the infusion process is used to make the jams so very little is wasted.
We bought this after an impromptu visit to the distillery. It tastes fantastic with lots of flavour and the right amount of heat to make it enjoyable with hot or cold meats, salads etc. We have just used it to make a spicy bolognaise sauce.
